Product Questions
what is a Brushi®?
Brushi® is a refillable sunscreen blending bottle. It combines a soft bottle and a built-in brush so you can fill, squeeze, and blend sunscreen without messy hands.
how do i use Brushi®?
1. REMOVE CAP
Unscrew the brush head counter-clockwise.
2. FILL
Add your favorite sunscreen to the bottle.
3. TWIST + ALIGN
Screw the brush head back on.
Align arrow to “+” for more sunscreen “-” for less.
Squeeze gently to dispense.
4. BLEND IT IN
Sweep over face, neck, and any exposed skin.
Blend sunscreen into your skin using the bristles.
5. LOCK IT
When not in use, twist to the lock position to prevent leaks.
6. CLEAN
Rinse with soap and warm water to keep Brushi® fresh.
What are these symbols on the brush head?
Sunscreen thicknesses vary from thin to mineral. We tried to make Brushi® work for them all. If you need less sunscreen - twist to the "-". If you need more or have a thick mineral sunscreen, twist to the "+" symbol. Twist to the lock symbol when not in use (to avoid leaks!) or if you feel like the bristles are loaded enough.
what is this silicone disk inside the brush head?
The disk is used to prevent leaks when Brushi® is locked.
If you have a very thick mineral sunscreen and want maximum sunscreen flow, the disk can be removed but there is a possiblility for increased leakage if doing so.
Does Brushi® come with sunscreen?
No. Brushi® is designed to work with any sunscreen you already love. It is a refillable bottle with a soft brush head.
What type of sunscreen works best?
Sunscreen comes in so many different viscosities. With this challenge, a medium thick sunscreen works best. That being said, if you have a very thick type, twist the cap to the "+" symbol for easier use and twist to "-" if you have a thinner type. Feel it out.
Is Brushi® reusable?
Yes. Brushi® is refillable and reusable.
do i need to lock Brushi®?
YES! Please lock Brushi® after every use to avoid leaks.
Can I use Brushi® for kids?
Absolutely. The bristles are extra soft, so Brushi® is a lifesaver for quick sunscreen application on wiggly little humans.
Is it travel-friendly?
Yes. Brushi® is lightweight, 3oz (for TSA) and fits easily in bags, backpacks, and carry-ons.
Product Care
I see some bristles straying, what should I do?
Just trim with scissors.
How do I clean Brushi®?
Disassemble and rinse with warm water and mild soap.
All sunscreens have varying waterproof elements, especially mineral sunscreen.
We find that: Make up brush cleaner, any castille soap and dish soap work well.
There is very little chance of damaging Brushi®'s bristles when cleaning with normal skin/beauty products.
Can I put Brushi® in the dishwasher?
We prefer handwashing.
Brushi's® silicone bottle can be put in the dishwasher - but DO NOT put the brush head or cap in the dishwasher.
How often should I clean it?
We recommend cleaning every few uses.
Material and Safety
What is Brushi® made of?
Brushi® is made from high-quality, European-grade, BPA-free silicone with soft bristles designed for comfortable blending.
It is not made from recycled plastic to avoid recycled chemicals.
Is it BPA-free and non-toxic?
Yes. Brushi® is made from BPA-free silicone that is LFGB (a German standard) rated. It undergoes more rigorous testing than FDA standards. It is safe for everyday use.
Is Brushi® heat-safe?
Brushi® can handle typical outdoor temperatures. Try not to leave it in extremely hot environments for extended periods. This may effect the clear plastic cap.
Shipping Questions
Do you ship within the United States?
Yes. We ship across the United States with free standard shipping.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International orders ship for a flat rate of $25.00 USD.
How long does shipping take?
U.S. orders typically arrive within 5 to 7 business days once shipped. International delivery times vary based on the destination and customs.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive tracking details by email.
What if my package is lost or marked delivered but missing?
Contact us at support@hellobrushi.com, and we will help you investigate with the carrier and their tracking info.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major cards, UPI, wallets, and other common digital payment options. If it is easy for you, it works for us.
Returns and Refunds
What is your return policy?
You may return unused, resalable items within 30 days of delivery for a refund to your original payment method.
How do I start a return?
Email us at support@brushi.comwith your order number and reason for return. Once approved, we will share instructions.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. Approved returns are refunded directly to the original payment source. Shipping fees are not refunded unless the product is faulty.
What if my product is defective?
If your Brushi® arrives damaged or becomes faulty within 30 days, we will refund or exchange it. Just email support@hellobrushi.com
General Questions
does Brushi® use recycled plastic?
No.
The unpredictability of the chemical composition in recycled plastics raises concerns about their safety, especially when used in packaging or children's products.
We only use virgin materials.
Does Brushi® replace traditional sunscreen bottles?
Think of it as an upgrade. You fill it with what you already buy and apply it in a way that makes sense. Less mess, same SPF.
